MARSHVILLE, N.C. –February 6, 2019 — Four Yellow Jackets took part in the National Signing Day ceremony in front of friends, family, coaches and teachers: Keeshawn Tyson – Football at Ohio University; Marion Holms – Football at Methodist University; Addison Jones – Softball at Appalachian State University; Kara Starnes – Softball at James Madison University. “There has never been a situation at Forest Hills where a student gets recruited by a college and signs to go play that has not been well liked by the staff, had good relationships with the adults and obviously made good grades. That’s a recipe for success,” said principal Dr. Kevin Plue. “These four athletes are really good examples of that premise.” Seeing the success of these student-athletes helps our school realize we continue to make a difference.
